Coming home from hospital

We came home from hospital on Sunday 15th April, despite the fact that I managed to pop an internal stitch which has pulled through my lower abdominal muscle. The obstetrician suggested that I stay in hospital for an extra 1-2 days, but Gareth and I were keen to bring baby Jambin home as soon as possible. I have hired a wheelchair, as I can't walk at the moment, but we're so glad to be home!

Welcome to the World - Jambin Eli

Our beautiful blissed out babe, Jambin Eli, was born at 3:45pm on Wednesday 11th April, 2007 via caesarian section, after prolonged (3 days!) premature rupture of membranes and a failed induction of labour. He weighed 4860 grams (10 lbs, 11 1/2 oz), was 56cm long, and had a head circumference of 39cm. Although my obstetrician (Bob) was in Tahiti, on holidays, for the birth, he and Jambin share a birthday!
